Emma Hart works experimentally with film and video, finding new ways and new places for the mediums to function. She has shown internationally and is London based, frequently screening and showing work in either gallery situations or often generating her own projects using alternative spaces. Her recent work with Dai Jenkins has used a car to take art on to the streets of London, see www.payanddisplay.org.uk Events in 2007 include a photography performance at the Tate Britain, a film performance at the Rotterdam Film Festival (with Benedict Drew) and screening video work at the Showroom Gallery. In 2006 she held The Emma Hart Biennale, a solo show of her video work and a two week festival of performance organised by herself.
