A group exhibition bringing together artists whose work shares Beryl Cook’s humour, irreverence and generous attention to everyday life. Hart exhibited Social Climbers, interlocking ceramic heads, an Oi Oi! ceramic speech bubble, and Slam, a ceramic cast of a door that had been slammed in her face. The works use humour and direct address to explore social aspiration, rejection, connection and the pleasure of being among other people. Photographs by Dom Moore
